Back to Running

Did my 6mi+ (10k+) base run last night. Ran on the side of a busy road, with my music blaring and my mind thinking. We sent out two more offer letters to some really awesome people: energetic, passionate and skillful.
I'm feeling really grateful right about now. But I know we need to keep moving forward.

Here's a neat fog picture from yesterday morning from out of my window:

Well done sir. Hope you land the new workers. Seems pretty exciting getting this new venture off the ground.

Cool!

We finally have a little sun. Pretty as it is, you can keep the fog.

Neat picture....even though, like Kate it seems, I am beginning to hate the color "grey" :(. 10 inches of rain last month; looks like 5-6 more this month...3-4 is what we are supposed to get.
Continued best wishes on your new venture. My brother's mother-in-law and brother-in-law (atill with me?) live in the Toronto area, but they aren't runners and couldn't give me any suggestions to pass on to you for running in the city near you :(.
Glad you got a run in anyway. Be careful and watchful for the effects of pounding on your feet and joints when running consistently on concrete sidewalks--even asphalt is reportedly more compliant).-as well as cars/distracted drivers and curbs/ankle-killers). Have a great weekend, Ann

Oh, should have said "IF you run consistently on concrete....etc" referring to you desire to run at work. Often times it is dangerous/imposible to run anywhere else.
At night, the cars are your worst enemy, so I hope you wear a reflective vest...sepecially if you are THINKING and BLARING your music! Sorry to be such aMOther Hen, but, unfotunately, having helped runners and cyclists for decades, I've seen too much happen.....
Have fun, Ann
